Biography:
Illidan Stormrage is a prominent character in the World of Warcraft universe. A night elf born before the War of the Ancients, he possessed immense magical potential. Driven by a desire for power to defeat the Burning Legion, Illidan made several morally ambiguous choices, including embracing demonic energies.
His first appearance was in Warcraft III: Reign of Chaos (2002), where he allied with Prince Arthas Menethil to defeat the Burning Legion at Icecrown. He then departed for Outland to consolidate his power, clashing with both the Burning Legion and the Alliance and Horde forces.
His pursuit of power and willingness to sacrifice everything for victory led to his imprisonment and eventual death at the hands of Maiev Shadowsong. His actions however, were seen by some as necessary to protect Azeroth, making him a complex and controversial figure.
